Hello! I am Wafa Jamil, a clinical psychologist here to help improve your quality of life. I just want to say how incredibly brave it is for you to reach out for help. This is the first and the most important step that you have decided to take.

I am a Masters graduate from United Arab Emirates University who is trained in diagnosing and treating several psychological illnesses. Some of my modalities include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness based therapy, psychodynamic and Trauma Focused therapy . I offer a more integrative and eclectic therapeutic approach which means that my approach is specific fo my client's issues.

I have experience in dealing with a range of disorders like depression, anxiety, phobias, and eating disorders as well as help with anger management and body dissatisfaction. I offer a judgement free and a safe and confidential space for my clients. I also deal with Sexual dysfunction, sexual addictions as well as gender dysmorphia and LGBTQ+ clients. I have helped my clients with stress management, overcoming trauma and grief. I am also trained in psycho-oncology.

I have worked in UAE, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia and have been able to help individuals from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
